AIR Sports Network is delighted to announce the launch of its new service to IOM clients in Kingston.
This is a fantastic addition to our expanding footprint of highly successful reducing reoffending work across London and along with our recently launched Brent programme brings our number of IOM Boroughs to 5, which now include Lambeth, Lewisham, Wandsworth, Brent and Kingston.
The Kingston programme is a 17 month Public Health Services Contract which aims to tackle drug and alcohol misuse, promote recovery and increase treatment service access for treatment naive clients. AIR Sports Network will also provide a programme for offenders focused on providing positive alternatives to offending and the support to deal with the issues that contribute to offending behaviour.
The programme will further provide meet at the gate interventions for individuals leaving prison and provide post release support. The overall programme will deliver a wide range of activities and support including mentoring, sport and fitness programmes, issue based group work and support, personal development, ETE support, healthy living advice and volunteer opportunities. Director Colm Whitty said "this is a great opportunity for us to really demonstrate further the impact of our reducing reoffending model and we look forward to working closely with the Kingston IOM team.” If you would like to find out more about our work in Kingston please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
